Save battery while playing Pokemon Go
Posted by Salman Khaja in: Android battery saving pokemon
Because of the game's features, Pokémon Go is one of the apps that consume more battery power. But a few tips can make your phone or tablet lasts longer on time.
By using many sensors such as camera, GPS, internet and processing, Pokemon Go will drain the batteries of mobile phones faster.
Not to miss the chance to get a rare Pokemon because of the battery, we've listed some things you can do to use less resources while playing and save battery.
The screen is the item that battery spends more and higher brightness, higher consumption. If you play day with plenty of sunshine, it will be difficult to see the details of the game are much lower brightness, but the night will reduction to well in his eyes.
Android reducing the brightness can be done by sliding your finger up and down to the menu to appear with the brightness adjustment icon.
On the iPhone you can slide down the finger up.
The Pokémon Go has an option that helps save battery causing the screen goes dark if you leave the phone upside down.
To activate this option, tap the main screen Pokéball and then tap the gear icon. This screen has a battery saving mode option that should be activated.
If you play in the street away from Wi-Fi connections using your mobile network only, you can disable other types of connections such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The augmented reality feature has the famous game show for the Pokémon where you are. As used your camera phone or tablet, it ends up helping to drain the battery.
To disable this feature and stop using the camera, just tap "AR" or "Camera" that appears on the screen when it finds a Pokémon. So the images that were captured by the camera give way to animation.
This tip besides saving battery also makes the pet capture easier.
If you do not need the sound effects and vibration (especially if you are playing in places that need silence), you can disable these features to improve battery life .
Touch the icon of Pokéball, then the gear and clear the sound effect options, music and vibration.
You can leave charged an additional battery of your cell phone (if it is those models where you can change the battery easily) or purchase a portable battery (also known as powerbank) to connect via USB.
This is a good idea not only to use less battery, but also to make the game faster without many slowdowns as Pokémon Go requires a device with at least 1GB of RAM (2GB recommended up).
To do this, tap and hold the "Home" icon and then go cleaning the screens other than the game.
